Project grants support initiatives that advance animal rights and nature conservation, focusing on raising awareness, enabling collaboration, and strengthening the long-term capacity of organisations in the field.
Our goal is to strengthen the ecosystems that protect animals and biodiversity, and to support those working toward a fairer, more sustainable world.
Project grants are awarded on a continuous basis.
• increase awareness, public debate, and advocacy on animal rights
• promote plant-based and vegan food systems
• build collaboration within the field and across sectors, provided the work links clearly to the other focus areas
• strengthen the long-term capacity of actors working for animal rights
• increase understanding of nature and conservation, and support environmental education and political advocacy
• protect biodiversity through habitat protection or ecosystem restoration
• build collaboration among conservation actors or across disciplines, provided the work links clearly to the other focus areas
• strengthen the long-term capacity of organisations working for nature
Strategic partnerships are collaborations we initiate and develop through our networks. They advance animal rights, nature conservation, and social well-being in ways that complement our open grant programme.
In addition to our open project grants, Adventurous
Ideas forms long-term strategic partnerships with
selected organisations that share our values and
vision.
These partnerships focus on animal rights, nature conservation, and broader themes of ethical and environmental sustainability.
Strategic partnerships are not open for direct application. They are established through dialogue, shared networks, and identified needs within our areas of impact. Each collaboration is shaped jointly to strengthen the partner’s capacity, visibility, and long-term impact.
Through these partnerships, Adventurous Ideas seeks to accelerate change that benefits entire systems from animal welfare frameworks to ecosystem restoration and public awareness.
